World Series of Poker Main Event enters 5th day and the Players are Now in the M

Texas Holdem Poker The main event at the World Series of Poker has been going for 4 full days now and the field has been reduced to an amazing 575 players from the original 7,500.

The players who have managed to make it this far now know they are in the money.

The money bubble burst yesterday afternoon when the field was reduced to the last 747 players. Tim Mcdonald went to heads up against Ismail Erkenov, was eliminated and was the unlucky player to finish in 748th spot and just miss out on the money, however he gets automatic entry to next years main event which will soften the blow.

The player who really did miss out was Angel Guillen who finished in 749th place, who walks away with nothing, now that really is a hard pill to swallow!

The chip leader is Tony Dunst known online as”Bond18”. He finished with a very impressive 1.5 million chips but there is some notable names in the chasing pack.

Scotty Nguyen is sitting on 632k, Hoyt Corkins on 572k and the dangerous Johnny Chan has managed to amass near 1.15 million.

The competition continues later today and its going to be an interesting finish to say the least so to catch up on the latest news follow us on Twitter.
